Dear Mr. Balk:
I have completed a preliminary analysis of the data from the field
trials we conducted on the effectiveness of your mole repellent, Scoot
Mole. Our data confirm earlier findings that Scoot Mole is an effective
repellent. when applied at a rate of 1 quart per 5,000 square feet. Our
results also indicate that Scoot Mole is an effective mole repellent
when applied at a rate of l quart per 10,000
square feet. These trials were conducted under extremely rigorous
conditions. Our study plots were in a condominium complex that contains
a large number of mature shade trees and is surrounded by woods.
Additionally, the soil is very sandy in spots where the developer
brought in sand to use as fill. Despite these conditions and
unseasonably wet weather (over 2 inches of
precipitation fell during the course of the study) Scoot Mole worked at
both application rates. I will be forwarding a thorough analysis of the
data to you as soon as I have it completed. If you have any questions
concerning our field trials of Scoot Mole, please do not hesitate to
contact me.
Sincerely ,
